Bob Ward of Long Beach, California describes his lifelong love of sport in emotional Life History Video

One More Day Productions had the privilege of interview Robert Ward, formerly from Long Beach, California in his first Life History or Family Legacy video. He described his lifelong love of sports. He said, “I love sports, I played sports all my life. One time I wrote in my journal all the sport and honors I received in those sports. Everything from Quarterback on the Jr. High Team. I was the Starting Guard on the Basketball Team, then I did the broad jump. I was successful in both Jr. High and High School in the long jump. In Jr. High I received one of my greatest honors. In a school of over 900 pupils, my Dad came and attended the awards ceremony where I was given a trophy for the “Athlete of the Year”. That was quite an honor for a 5’6” little kid! I still have that trophy. My Dad hugging me was trophy enough!”

Janene Brady, Founder of Bright Music describes how her love for music was inspired by her Uncle

Janine asked to be interviewed by One More Day Productions in order to document her life story and the story of how she started the well-known music company specializing in children’s music, Bright Music. This clip describes how she and her cousin studied music together at the age of 6. She described going to her favorite Uncle Barr’s house. She says, “He would sit in the rocking chair every night, smoking his pipe with his legs crossed. While he rocked we would play piano duets and piano solos. He would always say, “play it again girls” over and over. I think that was one reason that I excelled in music because, for a couple of years, we spent many, many nights at his piano. That’s really a tender memory. I attribute my love of music to him.”
